Benidorm is most renowned for party life and long sandy beaches with plenty of British bars and restaurants. Benidorm is nicknamed Beniyork, for the beautiful skyline with numerous skyscrapers.

Benidorm has app. 90.000 inhabitants in the winter, but more than 500.000 in the summertime.

Benidorm is also a place with an exceptional old town, quiet places and several attractions. Quite close to Benidorm you will find the municipalities of Alfaz del Pi, Altea, La Nucia, Finestrat and Polop

Alfaz del Pi / Albir

Alfaz del Pi is located very close to Benidorm. 10 minutes by car from centre to centre. Albir is the pebbled beach of Alfaz with the Promenade of stars, the sea promenade which each year gets a new star from a famous actor after the annual Cinema Festival in July. This is an international place with several international schools, including two British.

Alfaz del Pi has more foreigners than Spanish people and can offer everything from small apartments to luxurious penthouses and great villas.

Altea is located 10 more minutes up the coast from Alfaz del Pi.

Altea has in addition to a beautiful sand beach and large marina, a fantastic old town surrounding the Altea Church. The blue dome with a white geometrical design is one of the symbolic images of the Costa Blanca.
With Altea la Vella and Altea Hills,  Altea has every type of property on offer.

These municipalities are close to our area and you will find properties are more economical in these areas, as the tourists and foreigners have a tendency to try to live as close to the Mediterranean as possible.

People who have moved to these places often speak of the tranquillity and stress less life compared to the more tourist places. You may reach the Mediterranean by car in less than 20 minutes.

These municipalities are part of the “comarca” Marina Baja.
